About No Stay To Play
No Stay To Play is a national youth sports tournament directory focused on one thing: events that do not require traveling teams and families to use a mandatory hotel program.
Our mission
Families should choose where they stay.
Travel sports already ask a lot of families. Where a family sleeps, what it costs, and how the weekend is planned should stay with the family. No Stay To Play exists to make that easier to find before a team registers.
What we do
We collect youth sports tournaments, review the lodging policy of each specific event, and publish the ones where participation is separate from lodging. Qualifying events carry the public badge Lodging Choice Verified, with the supporting line: no mandatory hotel booking required.
Our tagline says it plainly: Tournament lodging on your terms.
What we do not do
- We do not rank or rate the quality of tournaments.
- We do not endorse organizers.
- We do not treat optional hotel blocks or team rates as a problem.
- We never let paid placement influence verification.
A No Stay To Play listing is not an endorsement of the tournament organizer. Verification applies only to the lodging policy of the specific event listed.
Accuracy comes before listing volume
A tournament is only listed when the evidence supports it. When the lodging policy of an event is unclear, No Stay To Play leaves it out rather than guessing.
